DR appt 2/23

I went to the dr last Tuesday and everything checked out well. Since you can't really hear the heartbeat with the doppler until you are 10 weeks, they didn't even try. No ultrasound either. Just an exam. However, the dr said that I was measuring around 8 weeks...which at the time, I was. I am now 9 weeks as of yesterday! Still some symptoms...and the nausea has unfortunately started. Not too bad...but definitely there. However, as weird as this sounds, I am actually thankful for the sign. It means things are still progressing. If I have to endure it until I can start hearing the heartbeat with the doppler at my appts., that is fine. Then, it can go away!

I don't go back until March 25th. However, the dr said I could come back when I was 10 weeks if I wanted to hear the heartbeat for peace of mind. I guess I'll hold off if I am still having other symptoms.

Believe it or not, I am starting to show already. Crazy! I'll be big as a house in July, Aug, Sept. Eeek! I know you show faster with your second...but I didn't expect to show at 2 months. Oh well, it's yet another sign that things are progressing, so I'll take it!

I think I am more tired this time...or maybe it's just because I have an almost 3 year old that I didn't have to chase around before. Either way, I just can't seem to stay awake. I am taking progesterone again this time around...as well as an 81mg aspirin a day. The progesterone I have to take twice a day for the first 13 weeks. So, I take it around 10AM and 10PM everyday. It makes me EXTREMELY sleepy and loopy. I am looking forward to not having to take that everyday.
