These are a few of my favorite things:

Jason and I planted tomato plants right before summer...well, with how hot the summer was and lack of rain, my tomato plants didn't do jack! I forgot about them and haven't done anything with them in months. My mom was over here the other week and noticed that our plants were loaded...with mostly green ones...and a few red ones. So, she and Ian picked them all because that night we were supposed to have our first freeze.

I'm SO glad she thought to go out there and check! I fried me up a couple of green ones last week and they were SO yummy! I even fixed Ian and I tomato sandwiches a couple of days. They were so good too! There is nothing like a good homegrown summer tomato...or in this case, fall tomato!! lol
