Today is just a cool date...08/08/08!!

Also, the 2008 Summer Olympics got underway today in China. Jason and I are actually sitting here watching the Opening Ceremonies as I type. It's been amazing. I can't tell you how many times I have said, "WOW"!

Jason and I have really enjoyed this because we have tossed around the idea of adopting from China. Especially back when we were having a difficult time having one of our own (we tried for 2 years with 3 miscarriages)...we began to consider the idea of adoption. We are still both open to the idea of it and are praying about it. For some reason, over the last couple of days...I have thought even longer and harder about it and really have started having a strong desire. The thing is, we both have to be 30. However, Jason and I are strongly considering getting the ball rolling. After all, 30 is not far for us at all!! In fact, J just has a few months left in his 20's. ;)

We still want and plan to have more of our own if it's God's will...but we are really interested in a China adoption! We have a friend, Missy, who has 4 adopted children from 4 different countries. One of her children is a little girl from China, who is absolutely adorable!

So, anyways...we'll see! We'll keep you posted if/when we start that journey!
