OK...so last night...I could not go to sleep because I was coughing. So, I got up around midnight and went to the bathroom to get some cough medicine.
Well, as I was looking through the cabinet, I heard a scratching noise coming from the direction of my trash can.
I froze and immediately thought, "oh my goodness...there is a mouse in my trash can and I am going to die."
Then, IT emerged from around a piece of trash in my trash can:
I about died.
So, I carefully tip toed back into the bedroom and whispered, "Jason...JASON...you gotta come to the bathroom for a minute."
Jason was dead asleep...and I am sure some of you are thinking, "you got your husband out of bed to kill a roach?" Yes I did! You don't understand, I have INSECTOPHOBIA (remember the lice story?!?!)...and I could NOT go to sleep as long as that thing was alive in my house.
So, Jason climbed out of bed, being the sweet most wonderful husband in the world and without complaining, followed me into the bathroom. I explained to him that there was a roach in the bathroom near the toilet, and said, "it's as big as a shoe!" I'm not kidding you, I could have probably hopped on that thing and rode it around our house (that is if I liked bugs).
So, Jason came in to the bathroom with 2 shoes and waited for a minute to see if it would crawl out. Keep in mind, I am sitting on our counter, trying not to scream to wake Ian.
Finally, the thing scurried behind the toilet and Jason was able to kill it. Sorry for all you bug lovers out there who are sad...but I do NOT allow bugs to live in my house.
Ok...so that's my most recent story regarding my biggest phobia. What phobia(s) do you have? To find out, click PHOBIA, and let me know! Some of them are quite funny!

I have a thing about bugs, too, especially roaches and I would have died! And Brian definitely would not have been nice enough to get out of bed to kill it!!!
