NKOTB!!

So, I must confess...I have been trying to win NKOTB tickets on B93.7 for about a week now. No luck! So, Tuesday, after they had given away their last tickets...it was time to check out Craigslist! I found a girl who was selling them for $60. Keep in mind that face value was $76. I asked her if she would come down to $40. She said, "how about $50?" I said, "How about $40?" She said, "ok!" So, I talked Dodi into riding over there with me! Thanks Dodi! It was a very spontaneous decision...but it was worth it! I was about 8 or 9 when they were so popular...and man...hearing them again brought back many memories of me and my friends singing their songs at sleepovers!

When I called Jason to tell him I was going, he just laughed. I am not sure why? ;)

Dodi brought her camera, but left it in the car because the tickets said no cameras. Well, after we got into the Bilo center, there were cameras everywhere. Oh well...so, we had to make do with our cell phones.

I ran into Amber before the concert! She had her camera and took a bunch of pictures! Most of the ones below are hers. Thanks Amber for letting me steal them! You got some great ones! The other pics were from Dodi's cell phone! Thanks Dodi! We also ran into Lindsay Knox, Jennifer Seay, and Katie Watchorn. Since then, I have found out that I had SEVERAL more friends there.

Oh, and our seats were awesome! At one point during the concert, the NKOTB came to the back of the audience to a circular, revolving stage with a grand piano. We were sitting on the 2nd to last row...so we had a great view during that part!

It's been 15 years...but they still look good, still have moves, and can still sing! Overall, I thought it was a great concert and a great night! I had lots of fun! OH OH OH OH OH! :)

MY FAV...JOEY!!

HA! After the concert the next day at work was insane. I couldn't eat my lunch with all of the ladies a few rows over going over every last detail of the concert. Apparently one of them got to be backstage and even got to HUG EACH OF THEM! I didn't go over there because I think they were saying something about "haven't washed this shirt since he touched it" and I didn't want to catch anything. I'm still amazed that those guys are still around.
