Halloween and Ian as Handy Manny

We finally carved the big pumpkin we bought from Strawberry Hill. Jason asked Ian what he wanted carved into the pumpkin. He showed Ian several faces...and Ian said, "a Tiger Paw". What can we say, his blood runneth orange already! So, a Tiger Paw it was:

As for what Ian was going to be for Halloween, I started asking Ian what he wanted to be for Halloween about a month before Halloween. I gave a couple of suggestions...but he never would really decide on anything.

Finally, I just brought up Party City's website and let him look through all the toddler costumes. Immediately he pointed out their Handy Manny costume:
After repeatedly asking him, "Are you sure?", and him saying, "yes" everytime, I decided I would go to Party City and buy it. Well, of course when I got there, they said oh, that one is only on-line. So, I went back home and went to the website, only to find that it was OUT OF STOCK. I went to several other sites...all OUT OF STOCK. Wow, every kid must want to be Handy Manny this year.

So, I asked him if there was something else he wanted to be instead. Nope, Handy Manny. So, I went to the web to look at a picture...he's just a handy man with jeans and a green shirt...it can't be that hard to creat our homemade Handy Manny costume. So, here is the picture we went by:

We put some blue jeans on him, a greent shirt, his bob the builder hat...we even bought him the talking tools...and walla, Handy Manny:

After we got him all dressed, we headed to trunk or treat:

Happy Halloween!!
