We usually go to the Union Fair each year so that Ian, Emma, and Morgan can ride with Anna. The Union Fair doesn't seem to be quite as crowded as the Spartanburg Fair either.
So, we headed down to Union Thursday, October 23rd, after work. Jason was in PA and missed out unfortunately...but we had a blast.
We started our night out with hotdogs and fries...and one of Ian's favorite things, FRUIT! I should have dressed Ian up as some kind of fruit for Halloween, because he literally eats so much that it wouldn't surprise me if he didn't turn into a peach or banana one day! lol
After we got through eating, it was off to ride some rides! Ian was actually tall enough to ride the kiddie rides this year! The first ride he got on was these spinning dinosaurs:
I wasn't sure how he was going to react. He climbed right on up into the dinosaur with Emma and Morgan. He was fine until they closed the little door. Then, he was not so sure and started freaking out. We tried to assure him and then the ride started. After one time around, we could see that he had calmed down and seemed to be enjoying it. After the third or fourth time, he was actually laughing. From that point on, he loved the rides and had alot of fun!
The following picture is dark and blurry, but I love Ian and Emma's facial expressions. They were having so much fun!

Ian rode in the same bumper car as Anna and I laughed the entire time (as you can see with the jumpy video below). My favorite part is when Ian yells at Anna that she "NEEDS TO PUSH THE GAS PEDAL!!"
We had a great time!
