My brain hurts

Ok...so yesterday ended on a bad note. Let me just preface this story with this...I have been working on a pretty big project...and I installed several pieces yesterday afternoon around 2PM. Well, around 4:45, my co-worker, Dodi, gets a call from one of her internal customers stating that they had some orders come in with no product detail. I was like, "Uh oh!"

Ends up, it was related to my install...but the root of the problem was not my fault...if that makes any sense. ;)

It's way too technical to explain...nor do I really want to think about it anymore...BUT...my entire team stayed on Friday to help resolve the issue. Two of my team members left around 7:30PM...and me, Dodi, and my boss, Chris, stayed until 9PM. Our brains were fried!

So, we left to go home with no resolution, hoping for some great revelation overnight.

I went to my niece's birthday party at 10:30 this morning and then went back into the office at 12:45 to start working on the problem again. I found the problem within 15 mins. of going into the office. I couldn't believe it. I just knew we were going to be there all day today and possibly tomorrow. After we corrected the root cause, Dodi helped me reprocess all the data that had not been processed since 2:30 yesterday and we were out of the office by 3! Thanks Dodi!

Let me just say, my team is awesome! I am so thankful and appreciative of them staying and helping. It's amazing when a team pulls together in a crisis!
