Today was absolutely beautiful!! It definitely did not feel like the 6th of February, that's for sure. The temp got up to 72! Really got me in the mood for Spring!
Ian and I went outside this morning and played what Ian calls "Bat the ball!" That child loves anything to do with kicking or hitting balls. He absolutely loves it! So, since it was so nice outside, I took him out into our new backyard and just let him hit all he wanted. He nearly hit me with one of his hits though:
Jason participated in the Green Valley 8K at Furman this morning. He did very well, placing 2nd in his NEW Age Group (30-34). He has more details on his blog...http://jthomas05.blogspot.com/2009/02/green-valley-8k-report.html. Check it out!
We spent the remaining part of the day at the house, playing with Ian and unpacking. Then, Jason grilled us some steaks and we had salad and sweet potatoes to go with them. It was a great supper!
Finally, we found the box with the Wii. So, after we put Ian to bed, we played a little Mario Kart!
