This morning around 6:30am...I hear Ian call for me from his room. He kept saying, "stinky in potty", "stinky in potty". Keep in mind that we have been sitting him on the potty every night before his bath for the last couple of weeks...and...nada. He just sits there and then wants to get up.
So, when he wanted to go "stinky in the potty" this morning, I was thinking to myself...yeah right.
However, I was like...I'm going to go with this...and sit him on the potty anyway.
So, I unzipped his footy pj's, took his diaper off, and sat him on the potty. Within a minute or so...it happened...Ian did a stinky in the potty for the first time!! I was flippin out! I praised him and squealed! Then, I called for Jason to come. Jason came in there and I was like..."Ian, tell Daddy what you did!" Ian said, "I stinky in potty!" Jason made a big deal about it too! We started dancing and singing "stinky in the potty, stinky in the potty, stinky in the potty!" haha Wish we had that on camera!
Oh, and note to self...I'm getting top and bottom pj's for Ian now. I think those would be easier for potty training than the footy pj's.
Anyways...it is an exciting day!
He may not do it again for months...but hey...it's a start!

That's wonderful!!! I know you are so excited and I can just see you guys doing the stinky dance right now! Man - I wish that was on video! Tell Ian congrats!
