Monkey Joes with the Cassidy's

A couple of weeks ago, my friend Amanda, who I went to high school with and who was on the committee with me to plan our 10 year high school reunion, said that she, her husband, Chris, and their 1 year old son, Ethan, were coming to Sparkle City the weekend of January 31st. We have been wanting to get together to eat dinner since our reunion, so we talked about meeting for dinner while they were in town.

Well, instead of dinner, we decided we would rather take Ethan and Ian to Monkey Joes during the morning and then eat lunch before the boys went down for naps.

Before Monkey Joes, they came by our new house. I got the inspiration for the color of our now master bedroom from her and Chris. So, she wanted to come by and see how it turned out. I LOVE it!

We then headed to Monkey Joes! Ethan and Ian had a BIG time. They both played so well! We played around in several of the different blow up things and acted like big kids with them. It was so much fun...and such a big stress reliever from all the moving! It was nice just to take time to spend with Ian and friends.

After Monkey Joes, we headed to Jason's Deli for lunch and free ice cream! I think the funniest thing all day was when Amanda and I went to get the free ice cream...the machine was low or something and made this loud popping sound when we pushed the lever down to get the ice cream. It sounded like a gunshot! It did it to Amanda and we laughed and then it did it to me and we laughed even harder. I jumped both times! Fun times!

We so wish the Cassidy's were closer so that we could do more things together!
