On June 29, 2001, I said, "Yes!" and on June 29, 2002, I said, "I do!" It's hard to believe we've been married 8 years!
I love Jason Thomas. He is my best friend. We have had so much fun over the last 8 years as a married couple as well as the 7 years prior to us getting married. Here are a few pics of us during dating years. It's fun to look back at these...I think Jason has had more hair styles than I have...lol.

I was a little bummed on Monday when Jason left to go out of town for work. He was going to be gone until today...and I was sad we were not going to be together for our 8th anniversary. Well, yesterday, Jason sent me a txt message around 4:45pm saying to call him on my way out from work. Well, I was still working at 5:15. Finally, I walked out about 5:30ish...and Jason calls my cell. I ignored his call because I was in the process of walking to my car with my hands full...plus, I was just trying to hurry so that I could go pick up Ian. (I was planning to call him back once I got in my car and was on the road to get Ian). Well, I cranked my car and started backing out of my spot...and was half way out of my spot when I hear a tap on my drivers window...it was Jason!!!! I just sat there in shock. I just kept saying, "you're not supposed to be here!" He said, "well, I am, and I am taking you to dinner." Me, "What? I gotta go pick up Ian, and I am running late." Jason, "He's taken care of...and is spending the night with my parents." So, I pulled back into my spot, got out, and got in Jason's truck. No wonder he wanted me to call him on my way out...he was in the parking lot at Milliken. I am SO blessed to have such a wonderful husband. He makes me feel so special! So, after I got in his truck, he said, "want to go eat in Greenville or Asheville? If we go to Greenville, we will have time to watch this movie I got (The Book of Eli)...but if we go to Asheville, we probably won't have time...but either way is fine with me." So, I opted for Greenville and the movie. We ended up eating at Larkins on the River and walking around Reedy River Falls:

It was a beautiful night last night too. Perfect for walking around downtown Greenville.
And the movie was GREAT!
It was such a fun, relaxing night!

It was such a fun, relaxing night! Not to mention, he surprised me at work with beautiful flowers too:
Then, this morning, Jason went and picked Ian up from his parents around 7am and he and Ian escorted me to work since we left my car there overnight. It was so nice to have my 2 favorite boys drop me off.
