Ian turned 1 today! It was a fun day! I can't believe a year has passed by already...it went by so fast. Ian has just started walking. He does very well when he holds on to something or to someone. He hasn't mastered walking by himself yet...but it won't be long.
We had a little party for him from 3-5 in the Family Life Center. Just family and a few friends:

Mere and Pop (my mom and dad)
Papa and Nanna (aka Shimmy and Jerry - Jason's parents)
Shane, Erin, Emma, and Morgan Bulman (my sister, brother-in-law, and nieces)
Gurney (my mom's mom, great grandmother to Ian)
Mildred (Sherri's momma - great grandmother to Ian)
Sarabeth, Anna, Leah and Nick Gregory (Aunt and cousins)
Bob, Amanda, and Ansley Lawson (good friends from high school)
Brooke Parris and Greyson (Clemson roommate)
Beth Murphy (good church friends - Jon Carter, Ian's buddy, who just turned 1 a few months ago was supposed to come but couldn't because of 103 fever and brochiolitis)
Dodi Leslie (my co-worker who made Ian's cakes - a little soccer ball for him to smash into and a cake in the shape of a 1)
We had fun singing to him:

After his party...he was tuckered out:
We had a great day!! Ian is truly a gift from God and we look forward to celebrating many more of Ian's birthdays!
