Hey all! I think I am going to survive! That's right...I'm on the mend. I feel much better tonight than I have the last 2 days. I still cannot hear because of the congestion and still have to use nasal spray periodically so that I can breathe...but no aches and my eye is much better. I haven't had to take advil at all today. Yeah! That is a big improvement since I have been taking it about every 6 hours since Sunday. I think the antibiotics are starting to kick in as well. My brother-in-law, Shane, now has it. We like to share in my family!!
I even got in some P90X videos this evening. I did the Back and Biceps video...which is pretty low impact as far as jumping around and getting your heart rate up. It was a good one to do though. However, the warm up alone about killed me...just because I'm still coughing some and short of breath. I was feeling ambitious...so I also did the Yoga video. I was going to make up the Plyometrics instead of Yoga...but I figured I needed to give it one more day since I still can't catch my breath real good yet. So, I opted to switch it up and do Yoga tonight. I will attempt to do either Plyometrics or Kenpo tomorrow. I will probably end up doing Kenpo since I have to do Kenpo again on Saturday and don't want 2 Kenpo days back to back...which means Plyometrics on Friday, as well as Abs. Going to try to get in some Abs tonight as well. I am trying to get back on track!
Tomorrow is swim day as far as the triathlon training goes...so I'm going to try to get to the swim center tomorrow at 4.
Am I pushing myself too fast too soon? Probably...but I have taken about 4 days in a row off...so it's time to get back to it. Otherwise I'll get too far behind.
Ian is doing so well with his walking. He has really gained confidence. Here is a quick clip of him walking. He is so funny...he holds his right arm up every time he walks...I guess for balance?!
