Home from the beach...boo.

Well...we are home from the beach. I always hate coming home. I absolutely love the beach! I think Ian loves the beach as much as Jason and I do...which is great!

We woke up around 8:00AM and started packing. We were loaded and ready to go by 9:00AM. On our last morning, we always go to Nibils at the Surfside Pier to eat breakfast on our way out. It is wonderful...and you get to look out at the ocean while you eat your eggs, grits, ham, etc.

After Nibils, we hit the road. Jason and Ian in his work truck and me, my mom, and Emma in my mom's car. I drove my mom's car because my mom has pink eye!! Yep...her eye looks exactly like mine looked 2 weeks ago. She looks like someone punched her in her left eye. Her eye was so puffy...she couldn't see very well out of it and was afraid to drive home for fear of not being able to change lanes. So, I followed Jason all the way home. I didn't mind. Jason said Ian did well except for the last half hour or so. He just gets tired of riding...but who doesn't. Overall, he was a great traveler.

When we got home, we dropped Emma off and visited with my sister, Morgan, Shane, and baby Ryan. He's changed a lot in a week. So cute!

Finally, I was home. Although I hated leaving the beach...it was nice to be home. I put in a load of Ian's laundry. While they were washing, I did the other Core Synergistics video that I missed on Friday. I was a slacker again on Friday and did not do anything for P90X. After that, Jason and I grabbed some dinner. Jason then bathed Ian, while I made up my Legs and Back video. Now, the only videos I need to make up is Yoga. I need to make up 3 Yoga! Yuck! I hate the Yoga video. I think the length of the video is what I hate most. Oh well...I'll get them in eventually. I will definitely try to get one in tomorrow...and make up the other 2 over the next 4 weeks. Monday marks the beginning of week 9 and the remaining 4 weeks of our P90x journey!!

Now, I am resting and getting ready for bed. It's been a long day...and I am looking forward to sleeping in my bed!
