Day 57...33 to go!

Today was a hard day...trying to get back into the everyday routine. It was not too bad though. Jason was very sweet and fed Ian breakfast this morning and took him to daycare for me. He also picked him up this afternoon so that I could get to the swim center. ;)

Dodi and I arrived at the swim center at about 4. I can definitely tell that I haven't been swimming in about 1.5 weeks. However, I still got in 300 meters in about 9 mins. So, I am pleased. I am going to try and get in 150 meters at a time next time.

After the swim center, I headed home. Jason and Ian arrived about 10 mins. after I got home. I was so happy to see him. He is starting to look more like a little boy to me instead of a baby. I guess it's because he finished his first day in his big boy class! =) His cheeks were flushed when I got him out of Jason's truck, his shirt was dirty, and his sandals were scratched and dirty...Jason said that he and several others were outside playing when he picked him up. He said that Ian was having a ball. I'm so glad! He seemed to have had a really good day. Yeah! What I have realized though is not to wear his better outfits to daycare and that we need a daycare pair of sandals and another pair to wear to church, etc. Guess I'll be getting him some more shoes this weekend.

I played ball with Ian and then I fed him and bathed him while Jason fixed us a homemade pizza...yum! It was delicious! After we ate, I fed Ian a bottle and then put him down about 8:15.

Then, it was P90X time. I did the Chest and Back video. Once that was done, Jason and I did the Ab Ripper video.

Now, I am going to hop in the shower, get Ian's bag ready for tomorrow and hit the sack.

Oh, btw, my mom called earlier to let me know that my sister was at the hospital with a severe headache. They were going to run some tests to see if it was related to her epidural. If it is related, they are going to give her a blood patch. Otherwise, if there are no signs that it is related to the epidural...they are going to take her for a CT scan. They have given her something like morphine to help with the pain. My mom is supposed to call me later to let me know what the blood work showed and whether or not they are going to have to admit her. Hopefully, it's nothing more than an epidural headache.

Tomorrow is yet another busy day. Ian has a followup appt. for his ears since they were draining last week. They wanted to see him after a week of using the antibiotic drops. He's still pulling on his ear a good bit...so hopefully, they'll be able to tell me what is going on and what we need to do.
