Ventricular Thrombosis is what the neuro surgeon, Dr. Keller, said he believed was what Erin had going on. After looking at the MRV...he said he could see evidence of a clot in the area of the bleed. However...he said it has cleared. The clot/bleeding is most likely the cause for the severe headache and high blood pressure. So, this is definitely better news than we had anticipated.
They are going to keep her in neuro ICU for one more day to monitor things and then they may move her to a regular room tomorrow...which will be great because then the kiddos can come visit. Although...that might bring her blood pressure back up. ;) ha
Anyways...we've seen enough of Spartanburg Regional for awhile!
Maybe the next time we see it...it will be for good news (Baby Thomas #2!!) No...I'm not pregnant...and no not any time soon!
