I haven't blogged in the last day or so because of lack of time. Things with my sister improve...and then go down hill again. Yesterday, I took Ian and met a couple of my co-workers at Milliken to feed the ducks around 10AM. I met Sharon McClure and Layne Burleson. Sharon has twin boys, Patrick and Andrew, who were born the same week as Ian. Layne's baby boy, Brady, was born about 3 weeks after Ian. We all had our maternity leave about the same time. During our maternity leave, we met for lunch and brought the boys by Milliken for our co-workers to see. So, Layne had the idea of meeting up to celebrate them all turning 1. Too bad we picked the hottest day of the year! The boys had fun though and we let them toddle around for about an hour and a half and then we all headed our separate ways. Ian was asleep before we got out of the parking lot. Here are some pics:

Then, I met my mom for lunch.
Afterwards, we headed to the hospital. Ian did well in the room. He wasn't too disruptive. Erin seemed in pretty good spirits. She is still having to take morphine for her head. Her blood pressure is down...but she is still not well.
After we left the hospital, I took Ian home for a nap, which lasted 2 hours. During his nap, I did laundry (no I had not done anything with my beach clothes until yesterday). When he got up, I loaded him up and we headed to stride rite for him to get a pair of tennis shoes. He now wears a 6.5!!! He had a growth spurt from March when they measured him at 5.5.
We left there and I headed to Walgreens to pick up some beach pics I had printed.
Then, we headed to the Flounder with my mom, dad, and Emma. Jason left earlier in the day to go to Greenwood for the Festival of Flowers Olympic distance triathlon so he wasn't with us.
After we left Flounder, I headed to my parents and my mom and I let Ian and Emma play in the blowup pool.
Then, I got Ian ready for bed and put him down around 9:30PM at my parents house. We got Emma ready for bed and then my mom and I headed back to the hospital.
When we got to the hospital, Erin was in a fetal position holding her head and shivering. She was complaining with head pain and her fever was 104.7. They initially talked about moving her back to nuero...but they wanted to do a CT scan first. So, they took her down on a stretcher for a CT at 11PM. I have never seen her in so much pain. She was telling the nurses that it was much worse than Monday night even. We were really worried. My aunt and cousin, Leah, came up from Union and arrived at 11:30PM. We stayed until 2AM waiting on the CT results. The nurse came and gave her Tylenol and her fever came down to like 103...and then to 101. The nurse said that she thought that the CT scan looked ok, otherwise the CT tech would have said something. So, we all headed home around 2AM since she seemed to be doing better.
They took blood and did a chest X-ray as well. They couldn't seem to determine where the fever was coming from. However, part of the blood tests results came back this morning. They said that she has Gram Negative Bacilli. They aren't sure exactly which Gram Negative Bacilli bacteria it is...they said that they would know for sure which bacteria it was once all the blood tests came back. So, they started her on an antibiotic today.
My mom and I visited again today around 5:30PM. She seemed to be ok. She was not feeling great...but not like she was last night.
So, we left around 6:45 and came home. We haven't been home an hour and my brother-in-law called my mom saying that Erin was like she was last night again tonight. They are putting ice on her and trying to get the fever to come down. Not sure what's going on or why they can't seem to control the fever.
I am sorry for the long post...but that's what happens when you try to blog 2 days worth in one blog entry.
I haven't done anything for P90X. I only got 3 hours of sleep last night due not getting in bed until 3AM and then Ian getting up at 6. So, I haven't had much energy to do it. I'll make up the Kenpo. It's not a bad one to make up...I don't mind it at all.
I'll keep you posted on my sister.
